We had a short stay at Samphire in Deal and it was perfect for exploring the area. The location was great, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and pubs. The house had everything we needed and we loved having breakfast in the conservatory each morning. Cath provided all the necessary information and the parking map was helpful. The house had a warm and cosy feel, with a nice dining area and comfortable beds. We can't wait to go back!

    Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the property was ideal, with shops, restaurants, and pubs within easy walking distance. The house itself had a charming character, with original features such as wooden panelling and fireplaces. The conservatory-style breakfast room provided a lovely space to enjoy meals. The host was communicative and provided useful information, including a helpful parking map.

The lack of on-site parking was a minor inconvenience.

Loved the opportunity to show off my golfing skills and pedal around on my bike nearby. The view from London City Airport was simply breathtaking.

Oh, everything was just delightful, I couldn't possibly have any complaints.

This place is mind-blowing! The old world charm of Deal is jaw-dropping. The kitchen is super equipped and the dining area is lovely. The beds are so comfortable, I'm jealous I didn't get the super king size bed. The location is perfect, with shops, seafront, restaurants, and pubs within walking distance. The conservatory-style breakfast room is amazing, and the lower floor TV and seating are top-notch. The house has a lot of original features, perfect for lovers of old properties with character. Plus, the owner provided all the necessary information and communication was excellent. The house was spotlessly clean and had great amenities. We didn't want to leave, but we can't wait to go back again! And don't worry, there's wi-fi, access to the beach, and a golf course nearby. No pets allowed and no smoking on site.

Golfing and cycling nearby, and I had a blast playing golf and almost fell off my bike.

Such a shame there wasn't a private jet waiting for me at London City Airport. Oh well, next time!

The lack of parking was initially a bit inconvenient, but we found a good spot on the seafront and didn't mind the short walk to the hotel. the steep spiral staircases were a surprise, and may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The location was perfect for exploring the charming town of Deal and its surroundings. Although parking was a bit limited, I found a convenient spot on the seafront just a short walk from the cottage. The cottage itself was well-equipped and had plenty of space for a larger group. I loved the old-world charm of the hotel, with its steep staircases, wooden paneling, and cozy fireplaces. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it a joy to cook meals and enjoy them in the lovely dining area. The beds were comfortable, and I especially wished I had slept in the super king-size bed! The communication from the owner, Cath, was excellent, and she provided all the necessary information for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The house was also impeccably clean, much appreciated. I didn't want to leave, but I would happily return in the future. I highly recommend Samphire Cottage to anyone seeking a relaxing and charming getaway.

Amazing value for money, the room we stayed in was impeccably clean, well-equipped and full of charm and character. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to shops, seafront, and dining options. The staff treated us with great care and provided comprehensive information for a smooth stay.

The breakfast selection could be improved with a better screen for the shower.

Great views from the top floor window and comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep. The conservatory was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning.- Location was very convenient, with shops, restaurants, and the seafront all within walking distance.

The lack of parking was a bit of a hassle, had to find a spot on the seafront and walk around 5 minutes to get to the hotel. The surrounding area felt a bit dull and lacked atmosphere, especially during the off-season.
